Rhubarb Crumble

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 cups diced rhubarb, raw
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 cream brown sugar and butter. add flour, cinnamon, and oatmeal. press half of this mixture into a cookie sheet and cover with diced raw rhubarb. cook sugar, cornstarch, vanilla and water together. pour this syrup over rhubarb and top with remaining crumbs. bake 1 hour at 350*.
