Gingersnaps

Total Time: 27 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 7 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 cups flour

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven.
  • 2 mix all ingredients, softening the butter and adding the flour last.
  • 3 if necessary, place in the freezer for 10 minute.
  • 4 roll into 1" balls and then roll in sugar.
  • 5 place on a greased cookie sheet (only 9 per pan) and bake for 7-8 minutes.
