Snickerdoodle Cookies

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon, mixed with
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Recipe

  • 1 cream together butter and sugar, then beat in eggs, one at a time.
  • 2 mix dry ingredients together, and mix into butter mixture.
  • 3 roll teaspoonsful of dough into balls.
  • 4 roll in cinnamon-sugar.
  • 5 place on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • 6 flatten slightly if desired.
  • 7 bake for about 10 minutes at 375 degrees f or until very lightly browned.
  • 8 cool, and store in a tightly covered container.
