Snickerdoodles (the Best)

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 heat the oven to 400°f.
- 2 next, in a large bowl, beat 1 1/2 cups sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.
- 3 add vanilla and eggs and blend well.
- 4 add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt, and mix well.
- 5 mix 2 tbsp sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon in small bowl.
- 6 shape the dough into balls (approx 1-inch or whatever your preference) and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- 7 place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
- 8 bake at 400°f for 7 to 9 minutes or until set.
- 9 immediately remove from cookie sheets and cool completely.
