Mrs. Fields Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened (2 sticks)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 300°f.
- 2 combine flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl using whisk; set aside.
- 3 mix sugars in bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed.
- 4 add butter; beat until grainy paste forms.
- 5 beat in eggs and vanilla on medium speed until light and fluffy.
- 6 add flour mixture and chocolate chips.
- 7 beat on low speed just until mixed.
- 8 do not over mix.
- 9 drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets, 2-inches apart. bake for 22 minutes until golden brown.
- 10 transfer cookies to cooling rack.
