Grandma Deana's Special Oatmeal Candy

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 1/4 cup cocoa
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 pinch salt
• 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
• 3 cups oats (instant or quick-cooking)

Recipe

• 1 mix sugar, cocoa, milk and butter in a large dutch oven.
• 2 put on medium heat and bring to a boil.
• 3 remove from heat and cool 1 minute.
• 4 add vanilla, salt, peanut butter and oats.
• 5 stir well.
• 6 drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
• 7 let cool in fridge.
