Nutty Cheddar Crackers

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 6 -8 tablespoons cold water

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2 lightly grease cookie sheets.
  • 3 lightly spoon flour nto measuring cup; level off.
  • 4 in medium bowl, cut margarine into flour untl mixture resembles coarse crumbs; stir in cheese, sunflower seeds and worchestershire sauce.
  • 5 sprinkle with water, 1 tablespoon at a time, while tossing and mixing lightly with fork.
  • 6 add water until dough is just moist enough to form a ball when lightly pressed together.
  • 7 on a lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/8 inch thickness.
  • 8 cut into desired shapes with lightly floured 2 inch cookie cutters.
  • 9 place 1 inch apart on prepared cookie sheets.
  • 10 bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 11 remove from cookie sheets; cool thoroughly.
