Lighter Whole Wheat Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup reduced-fat peanut butter
- 3/4 cup splenda brown sugar blend
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup wheat germ
- 1/4 cup ground flax seeds
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
Recipe
- 1 combine margarine and peanut butter until smooth.
- 2 add egg and sugar until well blended.
- 3 add vanilla, salt and baking soda.
- 4 mix in rolled oats, wheat germ and flax seeds until well combined.
- 5 mix in whole wheat flour.
- 6 drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
- 7 flatten with a fork.
- 8 bake at 350°f for 10-12 minutes.
