Fiesta Bones

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 30
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 4 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomato
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon parsley

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375*.
  • 2 combine all ingredients in a large bowl, mixing well, then knead by hand to form a stiff dough.
  • 3 roll out dough to 1/2" thick and cut out bones (or any other shape) with a 2 1/2" cutter.
  • 4 place bones on a greased cookie sheet and bake for about 50 minutes.
  • 5 cool completely before serving and store in an airtight container.
