Orange Drop Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
• 1 cup butter
• 2 eggs
• 1 tablespoon orange zest
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 3 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup buttermilk
• 1 tablepsoon orange zest
• 3 tablespoons orange juice
• 3 tablespoons butter
• 3 cups powdered sugar

Recipe

• 1 cream butter and sugar.
• 2 add eggs
• 3 add finely grated zest
• 4 add vanilla
• 5 beat all til fluffy
• 6 sift dry ingredients
• 7 add to creamed mixture alternalely with buttermilk.
• 8 beating after each addition
• 9 drop onto cookie sheet
• 10 bake in 350 degree oven for 10 to 13 minutes
• 11 while cookies are warm frost with icing
• 12 mix icing all together.
