Poppy Seed Filling For Hamantaschen

Ingredients

  • Servings: 25
  • 2 cups poppy seeds
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh lemon rind
  • 1/2 cup seedless raisin

Recipe

  • 1 grind poppy seeds in food processor or spice grinder.
  • 2 combine with the milk and honey.
  • 3 cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until thick.
  • 4 stir in the lemon rind and raisins.
  • 5 cool before filling the hamantaschen dough.
