- 2 cups poppy seeds
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh lemon rind
- 1/2 cup seedless raisin
Recipe
- 1 grind poppy seeds in food processor or spice grinder.
- 2 combine with the milk and honey.
- 3 cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until thick.
- 4 stir in the lemon rind and raisins.
- 5 cool before filling the hamantaschen dough.
