Ricotta Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 1/2 lb butter
• 15 ounces ricotta cheese
• 3 eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 4 cups flour, sifted
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 4 ounces cream cheese
• 2 teaspoons butter
• 2 cups confectioners' sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

• 1 cream well together sugar, butter or margarine, ricotta cheese, eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla.
• 2 sift together flour, salt and baking soda. add to creamed mixture, mix well.
• 3 drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet. bake at 350 degrees until light brown on bottom (about 10 minutes). cool.
• 4 frosting:.
• 5 mix cream cheese, butter, confectioner's sugar and vanilla and mix well.
• 6 ice cookies with frosting.
