Snickerdoodles - Soft And Thick

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter flavor crisco
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Recipe

  • 1 preaheat oven to 400.
  • 2 mix all ingredients together (except last 2 cinnamon & sugar which you should combine to roll the dough in) until stiff and almost crumbly.
  • 3 roll about a 1 inch ball of dough and then roll that in cinnamon & sugar mix.
  • 4 place on cookie sheet and back 10-12 minutes until spread but still thick and slightly firm to the touch.
