Snickerdoodles

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees farenheit.
  • 2 cream together butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar.
  • 3 add eggs and vanilla extract.
  • 4 mix flour, cream of tartar, salt, and baking soda in separate bowl.
  • 5 blend together wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
  • 6 mix together cinnamon and the rest of the sugar in a shallow bowl.
  • 7 roll dough into tablespoon-sized balls, and roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  • 8 place on greased cookie sheet.
  • 9 bake for 8-10 minutes, or until firm and just starting to brown.
