Seven Layer Magic Bars

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 (14 ounce) can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips (6 oz)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (6 oz)
  • 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 (325 for glass dish). in 13x9" baking pan, melt butter in oven.
  • 2 sprinkle crumbs over butter.
  • 3 pour sweetened condensed milk over crumbs.
  • 4 top with remaining ingredients in order listed; press down firmly.
  • 5 bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • 6 cool.
  • 7 chill if desired.
  • 8 cut into bars.
  • 9 store covered at room temperature. tip: for perfectly cut cookie bars: line entire pan (including sides) with a sheet of aluminum foil first.
  • 10 when bars are baked, cool; lift of edges of foil to remove from pan.
  • 11 cut into individual squares.
  • 12 lift off of foil.
  • 13 keebler/realemon/borden.
