Ingredients
- 2 ounces butter
- 2 ounces sugar
- 1 tablespoon golden syrup
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- milk, to mix
Recipe
- 1 cream the butter, sugar and golden syrup.
- 2 add the dry ingredients.
- 3 mix to a stiff paste with milk.
- 4 roll into balls, dip in sugar and place on cold greased trays.
- 5 bake about 15 minutes at 350°f.
