Ingredients
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water
Recipe
- 1 combine sugar and cornstarch in a small saucepan.
- 2 gradually blend in the lemon juice and then the water.
- 3 stir over high heat until mixture boils and thickens.
- 4 color as desired.
- 5 store the mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
- 6 if it becomes too thick, stir in a tiny amount of water, a little at a time until gel reaches a pipe-able consistency.
