Heath Bar Candy

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter (not margarine)
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 lb milk chocolate chips or 1 lb semi-sweet chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 in heavy saucepan, combine butter, sugar, and water. stirring constantly bring to 300* on candy thermometer.
- 2 remove from heat - add vanilla and stir (careful, it will bubble).
- 3 pour into foil lined or silpat covered cookie sheet - sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- 4 when the chips melt, spread the chocolate over like frosting.
- 5 after it sets, break into pieces and place in airtight container.
