Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 2 cups pecans, chopped
- 1 lb light brown sugar
- 1 lb butter (4 sticks)
- 6 plain hershey bars
Recipe
- 1 spread pecans on large, greased cookie sheet (one with a lip).
- 2 cook the butter and brown sugar to almost hard ball stage (300 degrees).
- 3 pour mixture over pecans.
- 4 while the mixture is still very warm, place the hershey bars onto the surface.
- 5 let them melt, then spread the chocolate layer evenly with a knife.
- 6 let cool until cold and cut or break into bite-sized pieces.
