Moist & Chewy Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup crisco
  • 1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 combine peanut butter, crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl.
  • 3 beat at medium speed with mixer until well blended.
  • 4 add egg and beat just until blended.
  • 5 in a separate bowl combine flour, salt and baking soda.
  • 6 add to creamed mixture and mix well with mixer on low speed.
  • 7 drop by heaping teaspoonsful 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 8 flatten slightly with fork tines.
  • 9 bake 7-8 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown.
  • 10 cool 2 minutes on baking sheet before removing.
  • 11 store in airtight container.
  • 12 makes 3 dozen.
