Moist & Chewy Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup crisco
- 1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 combine peanut butter, crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl.
- 3 beat at medium speed with mixer until well blended.
- 4 add egg and beat just until blended.
- 5 in a separate bowl combine flour, salt and baking soda.
- 6 add to creamed mixture and mix well with mixer on low speed.
- 7 drop by heaping teaspoonsful 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- 8 flatten slightly with fork tines.
- 9 bake 7-8 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown.
- 10 cool 2 minutes on baking sheet before removing.
- 11 store in airtight container.
- 12 makes 3 dozen.
