Orange Butter Cream Squares

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups about 25 finely crushed chocolate wafer cookies
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons orange zest
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
Recipe
- 1 in medium bowl, stir together all crust ingredients.
- 2 press on bottom of 9" aquare pan.
- 3 cover; refrigerate till firm (about 1 hour).
- 4 in smaller mixer bowl, combine all filling ingredients.
- 5 beat at medium speed until creamy. spread over crust.
- 6 in small bowl, combine all glaze ingredients; drizzle over filling.
- 7 refrigerate until firm (1-2 hours).
- 8 cut into bars; store in refrigerator.
- 9 ***note*** to crush chocolate wafer cookies, place cookies in a resealable plastic food bag. crush with rolling pin or flat edges of mallet.
