Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

- 160 g unsalted butter
- 70 g sugar
- 70 g brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon liquid glucose
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 100 g pecans, roughly chopped
- 100 g chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 170 degrees celsius line 2 baking trays with baking parchment.
- 2 cream the butter, sugars and liquid glucose together until light and fluffy.
- 3 add in the vanilla extract.
- 4 gradually add in the lightly beaten egg, beating after each addition.
- 5 sift the flour and baking powder inches mix until well blended.
- 6 fold in the pecans and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- 7 drop teaspoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared tray; bake in the preheated oven for 15-18minutes.
