Pecan Crescent Cookies

Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans, chopped small but not too fine
- 1 cup butter
- 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon water
- powdered sugar, for dusting
Recipe
- 1 in a bowl, combine together flour, salt and chopped pecans.
- 2 in another bowl, cream the butter, sugar, water and vanilla.
- 3 gradually add the flour mixture and mix well to combine but try not to overmix.
- 4 preheat oven to 400°f.
- 5 chill the cookie dough in the fridge for 10 minutes and then shape into crescents (any size but i usually make them about 3").
- 6 bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
- 7 while they are still warm but not hot, roll in powdered sugar.
