Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup shortening, plus
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 1/2 cups cake flour
- 1 cup nuts, coarsely chopped
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and shortening.
- 2 add sugar.
- 3 gradually add flour,then nuts and vanilla.
- 4 drop onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- 5 bake at 325 for 10-12 minutes,they do not brown.
