Premium Chocolate Macadamia Cookies

Total Time: 43 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 13 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (18 1/4 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1 1/3 cups chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°; position oven rack in middle of oven; set aside ungreased cookie sheets.
  • 2 in a large bowl add the cake mix, flour, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • 3 blend with an electric mixer set on med-high speed 1-2 minutes, until blended and smooth.
  • 4 stir in the oats, nuts, and chocolate chips with a wooden spoon until all dry ingredients are moistened.
  • 5 drop dough by teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto cookie sheets.
  • 6 bake 10-13 minutes, until golden at edges and just barely set at center when lightly touched.
  • 7 cool 1 minute on sheets; transfer to wire racks with metal spatula and cool completely.
