Frosted Brown Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
Recipe
- 1 in a small mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar.
- 2 beat in egg and sour cream.
- 3 combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
- 4 gradually add to creamed mixture.
- 5 mix well.
- 6 drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheets.
- 7 bake at 375 degrees for 9-11 minutes or until golden beown.

- 10 in a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
- 11 add brown sugar.
- 12 cook and stir for 2 minutes.
- 13 gradually add the milk.
- 14 bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- 15 remove from the heat.
- 16 stir in confectioners' sugar.
- 17 cool for 20-30 minutes.
- 18 frost cooled cookies.
