Snickerdoodle Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter (softened)
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 2 3/4 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• 3 teaspoons cinnamon

Recipe

• 1 cream the first four ingredients.
• 2 in a separate bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt.
• 3 add to creamed mixture.
• 4 mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.
• 5 shape dough into balls and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
• 6 bake at 400°f for 8-10 minutes.
