Low Fat Bisquickie Cinnamon Rolls

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups bisquick reduced-fat baking mix
  • 1/3 cup skim milk
  • 3 tablespoons egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons light butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup splenda granular
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 2 mix baking mix, milk and egg until a soft dough forms.
  • 3 turn dough onto lightly floured surface and knead gently until smooth.
  • 4 pat or roll dough into an 8 x 10 rectangle.
  • 5 combine cinnamon and sugar.
  • 6 spread dough with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  • 7 roll up tightly, beginning at 10 inch side.
  • 8 pinch edge of dough into roll to seal.
  • 9 place sealed side down on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 10 cut at 1 inch intervals almost through to bottom, using scissors or sharp knife.
  • 11 bake about 20 minutes or until light brown.
  • 12 mix powdered sugar, water and vanilla until drizzling consistency; drizzle over warm roll.
