Nancy's Crispix Treat

Ingredients

• Servings: 6
• 1 (12 1/2 ounce) package crispix cereal
• 4 cups pecans
• 1/4 lb butter (1 stick)
• 1 cup light brown sugar
• 1 cup light karo syrup

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 250 degrees f. spray two 9x13" pans or cookie sheets with sides. put 1/2 of crispix and nuts in each pan and be sure they are mixed.
• 2 melt butter, add syrup and sugar and bring to a boil. drizzle syrup over cereal and nuts dividing it equally between the pans.
• 3 bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring carefully every 15 minutes.
• 4 put on sprayed foil when done and allow to cool slightly. break into chunks while warm. store in a closed container.
