Mincemeat Drop Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 cup mincemeat (prepared)
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

• 1 cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy; add egg and beat well.
• 2 add mincemeat, mixing well.
• 3 combine flour, soda, and salt; mix well, and stir into creamed mixture.
• 4 drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
• 5 bake at 350 degrees f.
• 6 for 18 to 20 minutes.
