Ingredients
- 3 cups cream
- 1/2 cup amaretto
- 4 eggs
- 8 egg yolks
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup crushed amaretti cookie
- amaretti cookie crumbs (for finishing)
Recipe
- 1 whip cream, gradually adding amaretto and refrigerate.
- 2 combine eggs, yolks and sugar in bowl of mixer, whisk over simmering water until hot and slightly thickened, then whip cold on medium speed.
- 3 fold in cream and crumbs.
- 4 mold and freeze.
- 5 finish top with crumbs.
