Ginger-almond Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 1 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 2/3 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup finely ground almonds
  • 24 whole almonds

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°.
  • 2 in a large mixing bowl, cream butter with sugar and almond extract until smooth.
