Mincemeat Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 3 eggs
• 3 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/3 cups mincemeat (the one in a jar)

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 375*.
• 2 in lg. bowl,beat shorting and sugar until fluffy.
• 3 add eggs, beat well.
• 4 stir together dry ingredients, gradually add to shortning misture.
• 5 mix well.
• 6 stir in mincemeat.
• 7 drop by rounded tableshoons, 2 inches apart onto lightly greased sheet.
• 8 bake 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
• 9 cool.
