Jam Drops

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g caster sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 125 g self raising flour
  • 125 g plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • raspberry jam

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter and sugar.
  • 2 beat in egg.
  • 3 add sifted flour to butter mix with vanilla.
  • 4 mix to a smooth dough.
  • 5 spoon teaspoon onto trays leaving room for spreading.
  • 6 press a depression in each cookie and fill with a teaspoon jam.
  • 7 bake 180 c (350 f) 15 - 20 minutes.
  • 8 remove from oven and cool on trays before moving to rack.
