Favorite Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 4 tablespoons milk
• 3 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Recipe

• 1 cream together butter and sugar. beat in vanilla eggs and milk.
• 2 sift together dry ingredients. add to wet ingredient and blend.
• 3 roll into balls. flatten on ungreased cookie sheet.
• 4 bake at 350° for 5-6 minutes or until they turn pale golden. they should not brown. remove from oven. transfer to cooling rack after 1 minute. when completely cooled, frost with buttercream frosting.
