Smarties Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 2 1/4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 cups smarties candies

Recipe

• 1 cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla well.
• 2 sift together flour, soda and salt.
• 3 add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
• 4 mix well.
• 5 stir in smarties.
• 6 drop by teaspoon fulls on ungreased baking sheet.
• 7 bake at 375f for 10-12 minutes.
