Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup molasses
- 1 cup shortening
- 6 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 egg
Recipe
- 1 mix ingredients together.
- 2 let stand in cool place for 1 hour.
- 3 roll into 1-inch balls and flatten with fork.
- 4 bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
