Rice Krispies Brownies

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
  • 1 (6 ounce) package butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 2 cups rice krispies

Recipe

  • 1 cream margarine, sugar and cocoa with mixer.
  • 2 add vanilla.
  • 3 beat in eggs, then add in slowly the flour and salt.
  • 4 bake at 350 for 30 minutes in greased and floured 9x13" pan.
  • 5 spread marshmallow creme on hot brownies, then let cool.
  • 6 melt butterscotch chips and peanut butter together in medium-sized saucepan over medium-low heat.
  • 7 stir in rice krispies.
  • 8 spread mixture on top of marshmallow creme.
  • 9 cool until rice krispies mixture hardens.
  • 10 cut and serve.
  • 11 variation: use a brownie mix instead of making brownies from scratch.
