Easy Praline Popcorn Crunch Mix

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts popped popcorn
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
  • 3/4 cup almonds
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup

Recipe

  • 1 prepare a cookie sheet.
  • 2 mix the popcorn, pecans and almonds together and spread on the cookie sheet.
  • 3 in a saucepan, combine sugar, vanilla, margarine and corn syrup; bring to a boil.
  • 4 boil for 10-15 minutes, or until mixture is a light caramel colour.
  • 5 pour over the popcorn/nut mixture on the cookie sheet; toss to coat (i use a spatula).
  • 6 spread out on the sheet and dry.
