Patriotic Dipped Strawberries

Ingredients

• Servings: 24
• 24 strawberries, washed and dried
• 1 (12 ounce) bag chocolate chips (you can also use chocolate discs or squares)
• 2 tablespoons blue decorators sugar (or blue sprinkles)

Recipe

• 1 line a cookie sheet with wax paper.
• 2 place the blue decorators sugar or sprinkles into another small bowl.
• 3 place chocolate chips into a bowl and melt according to package directions. it takes 3-5 minutes. if you use a pot on the stove, it may take longer.
• 4 when melted, dip the lower 2/3 of the strawberry into the chocolate.
• 5 dip lower half of the chocolate into the blue sugar.
• 6 place on wax paper and repeat with remaining strawberries.
• 7 place cookie sheet into the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.
• 8 when finished, the top of the strawberry should be red, the middle should be and the bottom should be blue.
