Ella Mae's Divine Divinity Fudge

Ingredients

• 3 cups sugar
• 1/2 cup light karo syrup
• 1/2 cup cold water
• 2 egg whites
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 cup nuts

Recipe

• 1 cook sugar, corn syrup and water over medium heat until it forms a soft ball when dropped in water.
• 2 over the egg whites which have been beaten stiff, pour 1/2 of mixture and cook remaining half until it will crack when dropped in water.
• 3 pour other half over first mixture, beating constantly.
• 4 add vanilla flavoring and nuts.
• 5 drop on cookie sheet.
