Marcia's Peanut Butter Surprises

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 3/4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 48 hershey chocolate kisses, unwrapped
• 1/2 cup sugar, to roll dough in

Recipe

• 1 cream butter, peanut butter and sugars.
• 2 add egg and vanilla, mix well.
• 3 add flour, baking soda and salt mix well.
• 4 roll into 1 inch balls "push" one kiss into ball and reshape.
• 5 roll filled balls into granulated sugar.
• 6 put on greased cookie sheet.
• 7 bake at 375 for 8 minutes.
• 8 cool on paper bags to absorb oil.
