Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies

• 1 cup margarine, softened
• 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 4 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 4 -5 tablespoons milk

Recipe

• 1 sift flour, salt, and baking powder.
• 2 set aside.
• 3 cream margarine and sugar.
• 4 add eggs and beat well.
• 5 add vanilla.
• 6 add combined dry ingredients alternately with milk.
• 7 roll out onto floured surface.
• 8 cut shapes.
• 9 place cookies on lightly greased baking sheet.
• 10 bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
• 11 frost when cool.
